The mission of Country Journal Bookkeeping, LLC is to provide professional, honest, and accurate bookkeeping services to small businesses so they can make informed financial decisions and have more time to grow their business.

The owner, Karen Orsinger, earned her Associate Degree in Accounting from Rock Valley College in Rockford, IL in 1987.  Karen gained business and bookkeeping experience working in a bank, a city government finance office, and a CPA firm.  She also was a bookkeeper for an engineering design business, a retail store, and a food service establishment.  After moving to rural Monticello, WI, Karen saw that small, locally owned businesses had a need for bookkeeping services and started Country Journal Bookkeeping, LLC.

In her spare time, Karen enjoys the outdoors, reading, computer games and puzzles,  and being with family and friends.
